Someone needs to tell them that they need to leave their offices in Congress and be with the people protesting on the streets, at the Delaney Hall doors, demanding answers from public officials who are violating the rule of law during press conferences, flying to other countries if necessary to make statements and draw attention. Use your microphone. No more business as usual. We don’t need legislators anymore. There is nothing more important than putting their bodies on the line for democracy, and that, unfortunately, cannot be done inside Congress anymore. Policies are being conducted directly from the White House.
If you both lack courage or are afraid, please step aside—no more speeches. Action is highly needed at this time.
